Many feared dead as gas plant explodes in Delta State

Some persons are feared dead after an explosion occurred at a major gas plant in the Effurun area of Delta state on Monday night, February 20.

Eyewitnesses said that the gas plant went up in flames around 10:30pm.

He said: "I saw it from far as Ginuwa road, and I suddenly saw huge red flames in the sky that just lasted some seconds and began to wonder what it was. Thanks to God for we have not recorded any casualty.”
