• FFK does not regret his protest with the trade union in 2012

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has shared a video clip of himself, Dino Melaye and Nasir El-Rufai protesting alongside the Trade Union Leaders against the removal of fuel subsidy during former President Jonathan's administration.

The protest took place in Kaduna in 2012.

However, FFK as he is commonly known noted that the same people he protested with are now fighting the Trade Union Leaders for embarking on a protest. Adding that they have every right to protest and shouldn't be persecuted for it.

Recently, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, called for the arrest of the president and other leaders of the Nigeria Labour Congress for embarking on a protest in the state over following a mass sack in the public sector.

El-Rufai also hinted that all nurses, lecturers and other state workers who participated in the NLC protest will be dismissed.
