Hushpuppi reportedly arrested by Interpol in Dubai

Nigerian big boy, Hushpuppi has been reportedly arrested by Interpol in Dubai where he's based.

This is believed to be linked to an investigation by the US Secret Service into a criminal organization with links tied to Nigeria.

The organization is said to be targeting the unemployment insurances in some states in America.

Fox News reported that money meant to go to unemployed Americans could have ended up in the hands of scammers.

The Secret Service warns states in America that a Nigerian crime ring is exploiting the coronavirus pandemic and committing fraud against several states in their unemployment insurance program.

Hushpuppi became popular due to the flamboyant lifestyle he flaunts on social media. His instagram page is flooded with pictures showing him in private jets and in expensive hotels.

In the space of months, the socialite whose source of wealth is unknown flaunted two Rolls Royce, Bentley Bentayga and a Ferrari.

News of Hushpuppi's arrest comes months after a former associate of his, Mompha, was picked up for fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
