Fire guts Katsina Central Market

Some parts of the Katsina Central Market was engulfed in fire today, March 22, 2021.

The Nations reports the fire started around 7 am from the side of the shops that house grinding machines and foodstuff sellers.

The cause of the fire could not be confirmed at the time of filing this report, however, some traders at the market say it might have been caused by the smoking of cigarettes.

Men of the State and Federal Fire Service stations were still battling to put out the fire.
