Coronavirus: FCT records one death, 155 news cases

The Federal Capital Territory Administration has announced the death of one coronavirus patient in Abuja.

The FCTA made this known in a tweet via its Twitter account on Thursday.

According to the FCTA, 155 new cases of the virus was also reported with a total of 647 discharged patients.

“155 new cases, 1 death, 647 discharged in the FCT.

“Total number of confirmed cases: 11,588.

“Total number of active cases: 3951.

“7535 patients have been discharged with 102 deaths recorded.

“Residents are urged to stay safe and observe social distancing always,” the tweet said.

Recall that the Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday confirmed that eleven patients died as a result of COVID-19 related complications in the last 24 hours.

NCDC disclosed this via its Twitter account, adding that 1,016 new infections of the virus were also recorded in the country.
