Church might not open till end of the year - Pastor Tunde Bakare

Pastor Tunde Bakare has said that the Citadel Global Community Church which he's General Overseer of will not open till the end of the year.

The clergyman stated this during the second edition of the virtual 3Gz session of the CGCC Legacy Youth Fellowship.

Speaking at the event, Tunde Bakare stated that “government cannot shut the church, it can only shut a building”.

He also pointed out that a meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State revealed that cases of COVID-19 in the state could increase.

When asked on when his church will reopen, Tunde Bakare said, "We are not opening till the coast is clear".
