Political critic and public affairs commentator, Reno Omokri has commented on the ongoing Supreme Court deliberations on the appeal filed by the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Omokri said he is ready to dance to mock the Obidients after the Supreme Court dismisses Obi’s appeal.

He stated this via his X page ( formerly known as Twitter) @renoomokri, on Monday, October 23.

“Anyway, I am already practising the dance I will dance when Obi's appeal is dismissed. It is called Obito Continua!”

He said Obi’s supporters are appealing to the same Chief Justice of Nigeria and his colleagues who they promoted all types of disrespectful narratives and turned a section of the public against.

Omokri said the Obidients movement mocked the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, when he was on a wheelchair, as though they won't also grow old.

He also accused them of making insulting caricatures of the justices of the Supreme Court.

He advised Obi’s supporters to learn self-control, be strategic and not erratic in their approach.

“Learn self-control. Be strategic, not erratic. Think before you act. Know that those you insult today may be the same people you will consult tomorrow. And the people you condemn today may be the ones you need to commend you tomorrow. Now, after months of abuse and dishonour from you, you want them to honour your appeal”
