He is resting ahead of May 29 - APC confirms Tinubu's Europe trip

Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has said confirmed that his principal is currently in Europe resting ahead of the May 29 inauguration.

Morka made this known when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television's Thursday night political show, Politics Today.

The APC spokesperson said: “He (Tinubu) is in Europe; he is fine. After the election, and all of the energy expended, he decided to take a rest, because once he returns and he gets into office, there will be ‘no dulling’.

“He would be saddled with the responsibility of running a country as complex as Nigeria.

“He deserves a moment of timeout to prepare for the massive assignment given to him by Nigerians. And I know he will take it seriously. I know he will be back in the country very shortly.”
