Former Senator of Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani on Monday, July 10 revealed what may happen following the judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal Court.

Taking to his verified X account, he disclosed that the opposition parties are likely to condemn the ruling and move on if the judgement upholds President Tinubu's victory.

He, however, indicated that should the ruling annul the 2023 presidential polls, the former governor of Lagos State will receive a severe backlash from certain Kaduna State indigene.

“If the Court favours Tinubu and his victory is affirmed, the opposition may Congratulate him or condemn the ruling and move on.
If the Court ruled against Tinubu and he lost the Presidency, only God will save him from the mouth of the ex-Kaduna emperor and his next Book 'How we made him, and he betrayed Us'.”

On March 1, 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission announced Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election. ⁣

The former Lagos State Governor secured 8,794,726 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, who garnered 6,984,520, and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, who polled 6,101,533 votes.⁣

Unsatisfied with the outcome, five political parties – the PDP, LP, Action Peoples Party, Allied Peoples Movement and the Action Alliance, filed separate petitions before the tribunal seeking to annul Tinubu’s victory.⁣
