What PDP will face if Tinubu wins – Keyamo

The official spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Festus Keyamo (SAN), on Tuesday said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) “may fall off” as Nigeria’s main opposition party before the 2027 general elections if Bola Ahmed Tinubu wins in 2023.

Politics Nigeria reports that Keyamo who made this remark via his verified Twitter handle said the PDP “needs a rebuilding process”.

The Minister of State, Labour and Employment was reacting to a statement by former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, who projected that the crisis rocking the PDP could get messier.

“It is about time the PDP winds up its campaign and pull out of the 2023 Presidential contest. PDP needs a rebuilding process to get it ready for 2027. The danger is that it may fall off as the main opposition party before 2027 if by God’s divine grace, @officialABAT wins in 2023,” Keyamo wrote.
