'Tinubu consigns Buhari’s 8 years into dustbin' - Reno Omokri reacts as President sacks service chiefs

Reno Omokri has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for ousting the Service Chiefs and others, claiming that by doing so, he has proven to be a hurricane and put the eight years of former President Muhammadu Buhari's rule into the dustbin of history.

Omokri made this remark in response to a number of dismissals and changes Tinubu instituted during the final three weeks of his term as Nigeria's 16th president.

In a series of tweets, the PDP cheiftain lauded Tinubu as a brave leader who, although being a democratically elected president, behaved like a military commander.

He wrote: ""Hurricane Tinubu strikes again. In one fell swoop, he has demonstrated that he is the Commander-in-Chief. This is the type of courage that has been missing in Aso Rock. Now our military and security services will sit up. "What a man! Talk about hitting the ground running. No ambiguity about who is in charge. In three weeks, he has consigned Buhari's eight years into the dustbin of history. Well done! Bravo.
