Sanwo-olu inspects Lagos Island General Hospital, promises upgrade

In the spirit of the Yuletide, Lagos State Governor spent his holiday with staff and patients of the Lagos Island General Hospital, located on Broad street.

Narrating the experience on his Twitter page, the incumbent governor noted that the visit was a memorable one indeed.

Still in the spirit of the season, I paid a visit to the staff and patients of the Lagos Island General Hospital on Broad street.

He expressed how warmly he was received by staff and patients of the hospital. He added that the warm smiles made his day.

The Governor said, "The fulfilment I felt seeing the excitement and appreciation on the faces of the staff and patients combined with their prayers while encouraging them is incomparable, proving to me that it was a day well spent."

He expressed his commitment to renovating the hospital structure which has been in existence since 1893.
