A former Commissioner of Works and Infrastructural developments for Kano State, Engineer Muazu Magaji, has recovered from the deadly coronavirus.

He took to Facebook to make the announcement.

“To the Glory of Allah SWT, today Friday 22nd May and 29th Ramadan I have been confirmed Covid-19 negative and discharged from Isolation centre,” he wrote.



Magaji was sacked for celebrating the death of late Chief of staff to the President, Abba Kyari.

Governor Umar Ganduje on April 18 relieved the ex-commissioner of his appointment

He tested positive for COVID-19 on May 7.
