Reaction as Makinde shuns Atiku; welcomes Tinubu to Ibadan days later

With the presidential elections less than 10 days away, a picture of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu and Governor Seyi Makinde of Lagos State has generated some reactions on social media.

Makinde who is seeking re-election on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hosted Tinubu and his entourage at the governor’s office in Agodi, Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.

Makinde is one of five governors from the opposition party demanding the resignation of National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu after the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as flagbearer.

The governor shunned Atiku when the presidential candidate was in the state for the party's presidential rally.
