Pastor Adeboye never protested under Jonathan – Apostle Johnson Suleman clarifies

Pastor Enoch Adeboye Pastor Enoch Adeboye

The Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has come to the defense of General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye stating that his spiritual father never embarked on a protest against the President Goodluck Jonathan led administration.

According to him, the claims that Adeboye protested in 2014 were false clarifying that he and the other clerics were directed by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, to embark on a prayer walk due to the hardship and insecurity issues during Jonathan’s administration.

His reaction follows the criticisms that Adeboye has failed to protest under President Bola Tinubu’s administration despite doing same earlier.

Suleman spoke in a video posted on X while addressing his members in Auchi, Edo State.

“There are some people attacking Daddy G.O. Pastor Adeboye, claiming that he protested under former President Jonathan but is not protesting under Tinubu.

“He did not protest then; it was the PFN that directed pastors and preachers to embark on a prayer walk. Do you expect a man of 84 years to come out and protest? I am a son of Adeboye, and if he is not speaking out, I am speaking out too.”
