PEPT: Tell us if you paid bribe to reclaim mandate as Anambra governor – Wike pokes Obi

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike has called out Peter Obi for rejecting the judgment announced by the presidential election tribunal.

Wike, a former Governor of Rivers State asked Obi to tell the whole world if he paid a bribe to reclaim his mandate in 2013 when was removed as governor of Anambra State.

The former Rivers chief executive spoke on Channels TV after the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate rejected the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal that upheld the victory of Bola Tinubu.

Both Peter Obi and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s standard bearer, Atiku Abubakar, have rejected the court judgment and have announced their decision to further seek justice at the Supreme Court.

“Did Peter Obi not win at the Supreme Court when he was removed as governor? Did he pay bribe? Let him tell the world now,” Wike said.

“When he was removed as a governor, did he not reclaim his mandate at the Supreme Court?

“Judiciary was right but now that the decision happened, judiciary is wrong.”
