The People’s Democratic Party said it is targeting one million members in Kogi state under the ongoing e-registration exercise in the state.

The party began the electronic registration of all its members in Kogi on Monday, with assurances of getting one million more members in the state.

Flagging off the exercise at the state party secretariat in Lokoja, the state party chairman, Sam Uhuotu said the party has been repositioned to take over power in 2023 from the ruling All Progressives Congress which he said has woefully failed the people.

The party chairman said towards this electronic registration, sensitization programmes had been launched to inform old and new members to register for the exercise, stressing that at least one million new members are being targeted from the 239 wards in the state.
