PDP Chieftain in Kogi dumps PDP for APC

Hon Christopher Atule Okoche, a former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly who represented Ibaji Constituency on the platform of the People Democratic Party, (PDP), has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC).

He made this known at the APC stakeholders’ meeting held on Sunday in Ibaji Local Government.

He said that the reason he joined the ruling APC was due to the giant strides recorded by the government at the federal level in the state.

He said he had made consultations with his immediate constituents and will come at a given date with all his supporters into the APC.

Okoche said there was no guarantee of victory for the PDP or any other party in Kogi State apart from the APC in the November 11 governorship polls.
