Ondo Election: Unity Forum dissolved in support of Akeredolu

Unity forum members in Ondo state have officially been dissolved.

They will now support Governor Akeredolu's second term ambition.

Meanwhile, Akeredolu has urged all members of APC to work for the party's victory in the coming election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state have settled their differences ahead of the coming governorship election.

With this, members of the Unity Forum arm of the party has officially dissolved the body and blended into the campaign team of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

This forum was headed by a former deputy governor of the state, Alhaji Ali Olanusi.

The forum had vowed to ensure Akeredolu does not return for a second term in office but this failed as a result of the internal wrangling within the forum.

The Nation reports that the dissolution of the forum followed steps taken by Governor Akeredolu to ensure the party goes into the electoral battle a united party.

Alhaji Olanusi who was present at the meeting said he was on board the campaign train of Governor Akeredolu

This was the first time Olanusi would be in a solidarity meeting with Akeredolu in the past three years.

Meanwhile, the governor urged all leaders and members of the Ondo APC to work for the success of party.

The governor also praised the party leaders, urging them to work as one indivisible party with one united purpose and sole mission to winning to elections to remain in government in the state.
