Obaseki’s performance will earn him re-election - Mufutairu Iyoha Oare

His Royal Majesty, Mufutairu Iyoha Oare, the traditional ruler of Anwain in Etsako Central local government has stated that Governor Godwin Obaseki's 'excellent' performance will earn him his re-election.

According to him, members of the Anwain community will help him in the best way they can for him to continue in his office after November 12, 2020.

“We don’t need to pray for you. Your impressive performance has already done the prayers.

"You have given us reason to have faith in government and you have shown everybody the stuff you are made of.

"In this life, it is those who remember you that you will work and labour for," he said.

The monarch reassured Governor Godwin Obaseki of his unflinching support for him, citing some developmental changes he (Obaseki) had brought to his community.

“Mr. Governor (Obaseki), we are assuring you that you are at home. This community road was a disaster for over a thousand years until your intervention.

"We were cut off from Edo State, until you gave us good road that integrated us as members of the state. We cannot forget such gesture,” he concluded.
