'Next governor' - Love for Dino Melaye as he launches One million walk in Lokoja

Nigerians on social media have reacted to Operation 100 Million walk by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dino Melaye as he launched his campaign ahead of the Nov 11 governorship elections.

Dino, the spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the party in the presidential elections promised the people of Kogi State to give particular attention to their basic needs when elected governor of the state.

Dino will contest the poll alongside a former Auditor General of Local Government in Kogi State, Usman Ododo who is the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state. The incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello had days ago endorsed Ododo.

A video shared on his Instagram page shows the moments hundreds of his supporters thronged the streets to launch his campaign.

He captioned he video: "Dino Melaye on the street of Lokoja. unprecedented support."

Social media have since been reacting.
