Movement holds walk for Tinubu

ALagos State-based Group, Movement for Greater Lagos (MGL) has held solidarity walk to reiterate its support for President-elect, Bola Tinubu. It urged Nigerians to support Tinubu to realise his plans for the country.

The MGL is sponsored by a former Chief of Staff to former Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Otunba Samuel Ojo. The solidarity walk held at Unity Fountain in Abuja.

Rasak Akanni, who spoke for MGL, described Tinubu as ‘a progressive politician, astute administrator and a detribalised Nigerian who showed progress when he was Lagos governor’.

Akanni also praised the Asari Dokubo-led organising committee for success of the sit-out, and appealed that the support be extended to the government that will be inaugurated on May 29.

“This is an avenue to express our support for the sit-out, being put together by our brother, k. The programme has shown that Nigerians, irrespective of ethnicity, are behind the President-elect. Here is a man popularly elected by the people of Nigeria.”
