On-air-personality, Rufai Oseni has reacted to the inclusion of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai in President Bola Tinubu's ministerial list.

The immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir el-Rufai has been nominated by President Bola Tinubu to be one of his cabinet ministers.

El-Rufai was among the ministerial nominees read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio at the plenary on Thursday, July 27.

Following his nomination, a viral video where the former gov said he won't accept any political office after his tenure as governor went viral over the weekend.

Reacting to the video on the What's Trending segment of the morning show on Monday, July 31, Rufai Oseni opines that El-Rufai should at this point recommend people to serve under President Bola Tinubu.

"Mallam Nasir made the statement that he believes in building the new Nigeria but what I think that he should recommend people from the next generation who can serve President Tinubu. You forget that El-Rufai became Minister in 2003 and he was in his 40s then," he said.

"Prior to that time, he was a PPA. So you have served on the board of government parastatals, and minister of FCT after you serve as a governor, what else do you want?"

"In a country that is looking forward? This means in the last 20 years he has constantly been around the government, so what else do want? And that also goes to Governor Wike."

El-Rufai who served as governor of Kaduna State from 2015 to 2023 was also a former minister of the Federal Capital Territory from 2003 to 2007.

The ex-governor had served as Director of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).

In 1984, he received a Master of Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University.
