Some members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) have issued a strong warning to the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi over alleged accusations targeted at the party.

The former governor of Anambra State has in recent times accused members of the APC of attacking his personality over the election petition he filed against the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu after he emerged the victor of the February 12 polls.

Felix Morka, who is the national publicity secretary of the APC has described Peter Obi's allegations as ridiculous. He also accused PO of crossing the line in his allegations.

He made this disclosure while speaking on Arise TV's morning show on Wednesday, May 3.

“Peter Obi is really crossing the line, the campaigns are over, he needs to relax and allow his lawyers handle his case at the tribunal, accusing the APC of attacking his personal life is ridiculous.

“Obi has been way too sanctimonious for someone who volunteered to venture into politics and run for the presidency.

“He did not win the elections, he came a distant third, and he has made a political capital of exploiting people’s vulnerabilities.”

Meanwhile, the 2023 election petition hearing will begin on Monday, May 8, 2023.
