Hilda Dokubo, the Labour Party's candidate for Akuku-Toru/Asari-Toru Federal Constituency seat in Rivers believes the party will be victorious in the 2023 elections.

The veteran actress made this known on Thursday, July 29 in Port Harcourt, the state capital in reaction to rife commentary that the party lacked the needed structure to triumph in the polls.

“Individuals are the structures of every political party and we have our teaming supporters here in the state,” Dokubo said.

Meanwhile, the National chairman of the Labour Party Julius Abure has called on Nigerians to remain resolute in their quest for good governance and not be carried away with insinuations that the party has no structure to win the 2023 presidential election. He added that the suffering Nigerians are the party’s structures.

Abure stated this at a North West one-day mobilization, sensitization program with national officers in Kaduna.

Represented by the national secretary, Alhaji Umar Farouq, the national chairman said the program is aimed at sensitizing and mobilizing more supporters to ensure they go to the polls against all odds for the success of the Labour Party and the Peter Obi/Datti Baba-Ahmed project.
