Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, expressed his conviction that intimidation is transient and inevitably comes to an end.
Addressing guests at the state house, his remarks emerged amidst a political rift in Rivers State involving himself and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.
Governor Fubara stated:
"Intimidation has its time, and once that time expires, it's over. The Bible recounts how Pharaoh intimidated the Children of Israel. There came a point when it ceased to be effective. Everything that begins must also end."
The ongoing discord between Wike and Fubara has escalated to such an extent that it prompted President Bola Tinubu to step in and advocate for reconciliation.
Despite these efforts, the strife persists, with supporters and associates of the former Governor Wike continuing their conflict with Governor Fubara.
