INEC worried over security in Imo, Kogi states ahead Gov polls in November

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has raised concerns over insecurity in Imo and Kogi and Bayelsa States as the governorship election draws near.

National Commissioner, Mallam Mohammed Kudu Haruna, called on govt to boost the security measures in these states to enable a successful and violent free electoral process.

He made this known on Wednesday, during the media executives meeting for the 2023 Governorship election in Owerri, Imo state.

Haruna called on the political parties to allow for a free and fair election and to allow voters exercise their rights.
