I'm working for Tinubu not APC - Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has said he is working for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and not the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today program on Wednesday night, the former governor of Rivers stated that he is working as a minister under Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his bid to help the President deliver on his mandate.

He added that President Tinubu trusts him to help deliver on his renewed hope agenda which is why he appointed him as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

“I am not working for APC. I am working for Tinubu who has trust in me to help him deliver the renewed hope agenda,” he said.

The controversial PDP chieftain also dared the PDP to take disciplinary measures against him, adding that no member of the party can either suspend or expel him.

“The person who will suspend me is when I couldn’t produce a governor, three senators, Assembly members. I have not seen that person. Nobody will do it”
