Atiku a detribalized Nigerian - Saraki, PDP speak

The former presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has been described by the party as a detribalised Nigerian citizen.

According to the PDP, Atiku was also an "excellent statesman."

The former ruling party made the statement during Atiku's 74th birthday while celebrating him.

“We celebrate the former Vice President, H.E. @atiku on the occasion of his 74th birthday. He is a detribalized Nigerian and a statesman par excellence.

“We wish him good health and more years of courageous service to our dear nation, Nigeria. Happy birthday Sir. Congrats,” the PDP tweeted on its verified Twitter handle.

Bukola Saraki, former Senate President, wished Atiku best of good health and grace.

“To our former Vice-President, Alhaji @Atiku Abubakar, as you celebrate another year, I wish you the best of blessings, good health and grace! Happy Birthday sir,” Saraki tweeted.
