Governor of Cross River, Ben Ayade has said his defection to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Peoples Democratic Congress (PDP) is for the benefit of his state.

The Governor made the comment while addressing some APC youth groups who in a rally welcomed him at the governor’s office in Calabar, the state capital.

“The APC was the appropriate vehicle that will bring full economic benefits to the state," he said.
