APC at 10: Ruling party calls for patience, understanding from Nigerians

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigeria to be patient with the President Bola Tinubu-led administration as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

This was made known by the party's national chairman, Mr. Felix Morka in a statement in Abuja on Monday, August 1.

He congratulated APC members across the nation and assured them that the “Renewed Hope’’ agenda would ensure peace, unity, security and prosperity.

“On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of our great party, the APC, we congratulate our members, stakeholders and leaders on this important milestone.

“We salute the founding visionaries of our party for their commitment to progressive values and principles.

“APC was a child of the imperative to pull our nation from the brink where it hung precariously by the maladministration of the then ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),’’ Morka stated.

The APC was formed following the merger between the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) paved the way for the founding of the APC.
