Ahead of the 2027 election, an old video of President Bola Tinubu singing the praises of former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has resurfaced online.
Tinubu lavished praises on the former Rivers state governor during a rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the oil-rich state.
In the viral video, Tinubu applauded Amaechi’s leadership, particularly his tenure as Rivers governor and commended his bravery and contributions to political reform in Nigerian politics.
The old video has sparked renewed political interest ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
In the video, Tinubu said, “Amaechi is not a chicken but an eagle” for being courageous in the face of oppression.
Recall that Amaechi has declared his intention to run against President Tinubu in the 2027 election.

Now let's look at it from this perspective, Asiwaju went to Rivers to support Ameachi , you dont expect to speak bad of him anyways, he stood by him but when it was Asiwaju's turn, he didn't support but backstabbed him, castigated him but baba is far ahead.

Obi, Amaechi should stop making one-term commitments
Recall that former Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai, reacted to the one-term presidency promises of Peter Obi and Rotimi Amaechi.
El-Rufai urged the duo to stop making such commitments because four years is not enough to make any meaningful changes in Nigeria.
