2023: Wike releases list of PDP candidates he is supporting, speaks on Atiku

Aggrieved Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has listed the candidates he will support ahead of the general election in February.

Speaking at a Town Hall meeting in Bonny Town during the Local Government Campaign inauguration organized by the Rivers state PDP Campaign Council, Wike said he campaign for the other candidates in the state who are representing the Peoples Democratic Party excluding the presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

According to The Nations, the governor said he would not campaign for Atiku because there was no understanding to warrant such support in Rivers.

He went further to list the candidates vying for various positions that he will stick out his neck for.

1) Governorship candidate

2) Senatorial candidates

3) House of Representatives candidates

4) House of Assembly candidates

“Go home and have it on your mind that the PDP in Rivers State, we have taken governorship, we have taken the senatorial, we have taken the House of Representatives and we have taken the House of Assembly," Wike told Bonny people.
