2023: Politicians are welcome to join Peter Obi – Aisha Yesufu

Political commentator, Aisha Yesufu claims some Nigerian politicians will begin to decamp to the Labour Party because it is clear Peter Obi will win the February 25 presidential elections.

The social critic also added that these politicians are welcome.

Yesufu, who has been at the forefront and has supported the LP presidential candidate made the statement in a post on her verified Twitter handle.

She said that good governance and accountability is what Nigerians expect from Obi’s government.

She wrote, “As it becomes more and more glaring that Peter Obi will win this election by the grace of God, the usual politicians will decamp and join him. They are all welcome.

“Good governance, accountability and transparency is what Nigeria expects from his government. Nothing less!”
