2023 Elections: Obi’s presidential bid gets major boost as NCP, NPP merge with Labour Party

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has reportedly received a major support following a merger with the National Conscience Party (NCP).

As the February election draws near, the leadership of the NCP noted that merger with the Labour Party was as a result of Obi’s competence and ability to change the country for the better.

The chairman of the party, Tanko Yinusa promised to give Peter Obi and the Labour Party his full support. Adding that, “Obi has all it takes to earn the trust and confidence of our party.”

Another political party, Nigeria Presidential Project (NPP) also declared his support to Peter Obi ahead of the general election.

Peter Obi continues to receive support from prominent leaders and politicians who believe he is the preferred choice to lead the country.

The Zenith Labour Party's Reps candidate has been reported to have expressed his confidence in the ability of the Labour Party flagbearer.
