Zidane, Madrid players return to training after two months

Real Madrid coach, Zinedine Zidane and the first team squad have returned to training after two months away due to the deadly coronavirus that forced the suspension of sporting activities across the world.

As the suspended LaLiga season could resume when it's safe to, Madrid held their first training session this Monday at the Valdebebas training complex.

According to reports, the players who had to do their individual exercises with or without the ball were divided into two groups on different shifts. They spread out to maintain an appropriate distance.

This first week will be for individual training sessions which will be led by fitness coach Gregory Dupont.

Zidane was also very active throughout the session as he was always on the pitch, but giving instructions to his squad from a safe distance.

According to reports, the team will start training in small groups of no more than six.

All safety measures, already know to the players, will be maintained by the club with the players kept isolated for safety reasons.

Real Madrid intend to make the de-escalation possible by respecting the protocols that LaLiga have established.
