Van Dijk expresses desire to be back on the pitch

Liverpool skipper, Virgil van Dijk has expressed immense desire to return to the pitch.

He shared a video of himself and the Coach, Jurgen Klopp in a training session.

The Netherlands International tweeted, "Can’t wait to be back out there!" obviously eyeing a return to the club side and a desire to lift the English Premier League trophy.

The issue of Liverpool lifting the trophy has been a source of controversy in recent times, however, they have showcased great tenacity in this current season adrift second-placed, Manchester City with 25 points separating them.

Van Dijk is not the only one eyeing a return to the pitch, Neymar jr. was recently pictured racing with his dogs in a speed training session.

Whether both players would get their wish is a wonder now that the COVID-19 has forced everyone inside their homes with all major league games suspended for the time being.
