Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his wife, Ibijoke today observed their Easter service from home.

They were pictured listening to Pastor E.A Adeboye's Easter message after which they prayed amongst themselves.

Taking to Instagram, the Governor showed how his family observed social distancing by staying away from open worship to encourage Lagosians to do the same.

"My wife and I worshipped online for Easter, praying for our family, Lagos and Nigeria.

"Easter offers us an opportunity to rethink our relationships as individuals, as communities and as a Nation as we face these extraordinary times together.

"We are strengthened for the work ahead and pray that the omnipresent God we serve, visits every home at this time. Amen," the State Governor wrote.
