Our team returned from Kogi without any success- Ehanire

Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire has said that the team sent to Kogi state returned unsuccessfully.

Giving more details about the meeting between the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and their team, Ehanire noted that there were a few differences in opinion.

Relating Bello's response to the general public, the Minister said;

"Kogi says they do not have COVID-19 cases. So the agreement we had with them was to send a team in to validate that fact. We need that for our national records and report what the situation is in the country," he explained.

That move birthed the huge disagreement with Yahaya Bello which the Minister tagged "a few differences."

Nonetheless, the health minister promised to re-engage with the Governor very soon.

"We would re-engage the Kogi State Governor again," Ehanire vowed.
