Nine COVID-19 patients discharged in Lagos

At least nine COVID-19 patients have been discharged by the Lagos State Government on Tuesday after testing negative for the deadly virus.

According to the Lagos State Ministry of Health, the patients, two females and seven males, all Nigerians, were discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba.

A statement released on the ministry's verified Twitter handle read:

“The patients were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to #COVID-19 in two consecutive readings.

“This brings to 632, the number of confirmed #COVID-19 cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos,” it said.
