Nigeria’s coronavirus cases rise by 120 to 59,465

Nigeria has recorded 120 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing to 59,465 the number of confirmed cases in the country.

Announcing this yesterday, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said Rivers recorded 65 new cases:

Federal Capital Territory (FCT), 12

Ogun, 9;

Katsina, 8;

Anambra, 7;

Bauchi and Oyo, 5 each;

Nasarawa, 3;

Kaduna, 2;

While Kwara, Taraba, Delta and Imo recorded one each.

It said: “So far. Nigeria has recorded 59,465 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 50,951 patients have been discharged, while 1,113 persons have died.”
