NCDC confirms 10 new COVID-19 cases, rises to 224

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control has announced ten fresh cases of the deadly coronavirus on Sunday morning.

The new number of recorded cases now stands at 224, according to the NCDC's statistic.

The NCDC made the announcement on its official Twitter account.

"Ten new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 6 in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo.

"As at 11:15 am 5th April there are 224 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-seven have been discharged with five deaths," the NCDC said.

As it stands, Nigeria has recorded a total of 224 confirmed cases, 27 recoveries and 5 deaths.
