NCDC cautions against false recruitment exercise

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has served notice to Nigerians that it is noy conducting any kind of recruitment at this time.

This was contained in an SMS sent to mobile subscribers on Thursday.

The NCDC also warned Nigerians not to offer payment in return for employment.

It reads: “NOTICE: Beware of fraud! NCDC will never request for payment in return for employment and NCDC is not conducting any recruitment activities at this time.”

The agency yesterday night announced 593 new COVID-19 cases from 16 states.

It brought the total in the country to 50,488

Out of that number, 37,304 patients have been discharged and 985 deaths have been recorded.
