Minister reveals 'personal' coronavirus therapy

As the cases of COVID-19 continue to rise, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika has revealed his personal but unscientifically tested COVID-19 therapy.

The Minister in a tweet said that “certainly Black seed oil, raw Ginger, raw Onions, pure Honey, Lemon and raw Garlic combination in hot water or hot tea helps.”

Before the tweet by the Minister, ginger has been circulating as therapy, but has not been scientifically proven.

However, the Minister after 1 hour after the tweet, put up a disclaimer, stating that he is not a medical expert and that the therapy is personal.

“Folks my tweet on Black seed oil is purely personal. Has no scientific basis. I am not competent to discuss healthcare. Healthcare is a serious matter backed by pure and proven scientific proofs. Kindly be guided,” the tweet reads.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) there are 55,632 confirmed cases in Nigeria and 1070 deaths recorded so far.
