Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire

The Federal Government is completing plans to build isolation centres around its land borders.

In addition to this, Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire added that the Government was considering building some centres at the airports, where citizens airlifted from other countries would be observed for 14 days before allowed to re-integrate with the society.

Also, Osagie noted that evidence of community transmission abounds and it is considering the use of face masks as well as strict adherence to measures.

Revealing that 9,000 contacts have been traced thus far, the Minister expressed thanks to the NCDC for doing well.

"Staying at home helps one to trace suspected cases. We have traced over 9,000 persons of interest. NCDC has done greatly," the Minister said.
