Coronavirus now in 14 states, Health Minister reveals

Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire has assessed the impact of the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria.

In a press briefing by the presidential task force on COVID-19, Osagie said coronavirus cases have now reached 14 of the 36 states in the Federation.

Giving his report on the ravaging pandemic that has crept into the nation, he said the country had recorded high fatalities.

Nonetheless, he told the general public that 33 cases have been discharged and two testing laboratories have been inaugurated.

"There are confirmed coronavirus cases in 14 states in Nigeria. We have recorded high fatalities. 33 have been discharged and we have activated two testing laboratories, one in Abuja and another in Lagos. The changes in our public health advisory would be announced later." he stated.
