A University don, Professor Adu has found the solution to coronavirus.

In a viral video that has now garnered several views of Instagram, Adu a professor of virology gave a breakdown of the virus composition.

Adu said the virus was shaped like a crown hence the name, coronavirus.

"This RNA virus. They call it corona because it is formed like a crown. The Latin word for crown is corona. It is more sensitive to environmental factors like disinfectant and heat and that is why we are being advised to use things like alcohol-based sanitizers to clean our hands. Because they are easily inactivated by chemical disinfectant," he said.

Explaining how the virus works, he said that the virus is a respiratory virus that is attached to the lungs, hence the reason why people experience laboured breathing whenever they contact the deadly virus.

"Viruses are attached to where they have receptors. The receptor is in the respiratory tracts but more in the lungs. That is why people have laboured breathing because it destroys the lungs," he pointed out.

Adu who used to work with CDC said that the cure to the virus was combating it with anything acidic. Using a simple illustration, he said if the virus was held up in your mouth, and you manage to wash it down your throat, the acidic content in the belly will kill it. This is because it can't survive between pH 3 to pH6 acidic level.

"If it is in your mouth already. You can drink water to push it down to the stomach where it can't survive due to acid. It is an Envelop virus. If we drink water with apple cider vinegar, it can push it down. But that can only work when it is not in the respiratory tract already. If we use a diffuser with apple cider vinegar, then that can work. They can't survive PH 3 to Ph6. Anything that will make it virus acidic can kill it," he advised.
