Coronavirus: 269 new cases recorded in Nigeria

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that 269 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in the country on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

The agency also stated that Enugu recorded 78 new cases, the highest for the day.

Other states with new cases include Bauchi-37, Rivers-22, Imo-18, Ogun-16, FCT-15, Akwa Ibom-13, Kaduna-13, Kebbi-11, Kwara-9, Edo-7, Ekiti-6, Borno-5, Yobe-5, Kano-4, Nasarawa-3, Osun-3, Anambra-2 and Plateau-2.

According to NCDC, they were 80 community recoveries in Kwara State.

Nigeria now has a total of 158,506 confirmed cases 137, 875 patients have been discharged so far with 1,969 deaths recorded.
