COVID-19 forces Fed Govt. to review 2020 budget

The Federal Government is now set to review its 2020 budget following the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus which has continued to multiply in the country.

This disclosure was made through the Presidency via their handle on Twitter as they outlined a few extra steps they are taking regarding the spread of the deadly virus.

The Federal Government outlined prioritization of the health sector infrastructure and securing government debt as part of efforts, it would use in responding to the virus.

It also promised to cut costs and institutionalize a revenue stabilization program in line with steps other nations of the world have been taking to combat the virus.

So far, the number of suspected cases of coronavirus has jumped to 19 in Nigeria.

Out of the 19 suspected cases announced yesterday, 4 turned out positive for the virus.
