Lagos Bus Services Limited has banned passengers from standing on the bus after every seat has been occupied.
It made this declaration today in a statement while stressing the need to promote social distancing as coronavirus cases continue to surge in state and country at large.
It also noted that it would keep on intensifying its efforts in sanitizing buses for general use.
It's statement read thus: "In line with the directive of the Lagos State Government to limit public gathering to 50 people and practise social distancing, to contain the spread of the COVID-19, the Lagos Bus Services Limited has directed that no passenger must henceforth, be allowed to stand in the house after all the seats must have been occupied."
